On June 12, 2026, Safe YOU had the stakeholder event “Safe YOU Lithuania: Exploring Technology-Enabled Pathways to Prevent and Respond to Violence Against Women Through Multi-Sector Collaboration” in Vilnius, bringing together experts, institutions, civil society representatives, and partners to discuss innovative approaches to preventing and responding to violence against women.
The event served as a platform for dialogue on how technology can complement existing systems, strengthen coordination among stakeholders, and improve access to support services for women and girls.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Dainius Žalimas and his team for hosting the event in Vilnius and for their valuable support and partnership. Their contribution played a key role in creating an environment for meaningful discussions and collaboration among stakeholders.
During the event, Mariam Torosyan, Founder and CEO of Safe YOU, presented the organization’s AI-powered and survivor-centered platform, highlighting how technology can support prevention, protection, and access to services for women experiencing violence.
The Safe YOU team also shared implementation experiences and success stories from different countries across Europe and beyond, demonstrating how cross-sector collaboration and technology-driven approaches can contribute to creating stronger support systems and improving outcomes for women.
The discussion also addressed the broader context of violence against women and the importance of strengthening coordinated responses and evidence-based solutions. Participants exchanged perspectives, identified potential areas for collaboration, and explored opportunities for future localization and partnership efforts.
As Safe YOU continues expanding across European Union member states, these conversations remain essential for building stronger ecosystems that support women and girls through innovation, partnership, and collective action.
We thank all participants and partners for contributing their expertise and perspectives and look forward to continuing our collaboration to create safer communities for all.
