[Graz, 28th April] – Safe YOU, a pioneering social impact startup, is thrilled to announce its remarkable achievement as the winner of the European Young Innovators Award 2022/23 at the prestigious World Summit Awards (WSA) European Young Innovators Festival held in Graz, Austria.

From April 26th to 28th, the WSA brought together a dynamic community of European entrepreneurs, students, experts, and international founders, along with the vibrant local Styrian startup scene, for the European Young Innovators Festival. The festival served as a platform for connecting individuals who utilize digital technology to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

During this immersive event, Safe YOU had the opportunity to engage with fellow Young Innovators from around the world, forging meaningful connections and collaborations. The World Summit Awards is a prestigious awards system that recognizes and promotes local digital innovation aimed at enhancing society. The initiative was launched in 2003 during the UN World Summit on the Information Society (UN WSIS) in Geneva, Switzerland. Graz, renowned as a city of human rights, design, culture, and situated in the heart of the Green Tech Valley, served as an ideal host for this influential festival. The city's vibrant ecosystem, including universities and innovation agencies, provided a conducive environment for fostering collaboration and nurturing innovation.
